Hi everyone,
I really didn't have a creative title for my new entry so I just decided to call it updates for September of 2012. I finished my 2 weeks at American Training, and went to Pennsylvania to visit family and friends for a week. It was good. But I must admit I did miss my routine of going to the club everyday. I thought that I would talk about how I'm doing. I just finished writing a letter to my good friend from Landmark and just a few days ago I wrote a letter to one of my teachers from CT. I love writing letters to friends it makes me feel really good. When I get a reply I back from them and they say they loved hearing from me I know I did something good. I know I haven''t written an entry in my blog since August. I've been busy and it's hard to know what to write sometimes. I have been thinking a lot about Landmark and how much I miss it there. It'll be 4 years come December of 2012. I know they started doing a Bachelor's program. I wish I could go back but it's just not in the cards for me.
Once I get a good job and I save up my money maybe I can go back to school but I don't think that'll happen for a very long time. I hope that one day I can go back. I liked American Training a lot. I did some assembly work there for 2 weeks. It was more fun than I expected. Some of it was tricky but once I started I got the hang of it. I also got paid for doing the work which was awesome. I haven't seen a paycheck in over a year. It feels really good to have my hard work pay off so to speak. I'm hoping that I can get a good job and make some money so I can save up and help pay off my student loans. In other news I heard from someone I won't say who that made me realize I shouldn't hold people in such high praise or on a high pedestal. I do that too much. I realize I don't hold myself on that high pedestal as much as I should. I should admire myself. Not other people. I mean don't get me wrong I can respect people and it's very important to but I think that I shouldn't go to high in that respect.
I think that I will try not to do that anymore. I will only hold myself on that high pedestal from now on. I think that's so important. You have to see yourself in a higher light. Loving yourself and taking care of yourself is so important. Moving on to other things that I did this summer. Last month I saw K.D. Lang in concert and she was awesome. I went with my sister Abby. We had front row lawn seats. It was certainly a beautiful day for a concert in the park. I think she is incredible live. If anyone has the chance to see her in concert you should definitely go. I loved being back at the club this week. Everyone there as usual was so warm and welcoming towards me. I feel incredibly lucky to be part of such an awesome program. I realize how fortunate I am that my illness is no longer persistent. I have wonderful friends, and family, even my pets are a good support.
I will try and post more often on my blog. It's so important to me, I love the comments that people leave for me. It really helps to hear from all my readers. It shows you really care about what I have to say. I hope to visit Landmark one day. It holds a special place in my heart. I know I've said in the past that I was afraid about visiting but I must face that fear. I can't let my fear stop me from going. I hope by the end of the year I can say that I've faced that fear. Or if not maybe by spring. I think I will end this blog for now, but I have all day to add to it so if I'm missing anything let me know :). Thanks again for reading. I hope you enjoyed what I had to say.
