New things coming up

So the Red Sox game is totally boring me as there is no score so I decided to write a new blog post. I am finally going to take a tour of American Training tomorrow in Lawrence, I'm very nervous for some reason and I don't know why. I'm excited don't get me wrong but I always get nervous before these sort of things because I don't know what to expect. If all goes well, I'm hoping to start there in the fall sometime unless they decide to start me sooner. The assistant director of the Point After Club was insistent on coming with me. She has done a lot of advocating for me and really wants the best for me. I owe her a lot for being so willing to go with me. The tour is tomorrow at 9 AM. I hope my readers will say some prayers that all goes well for me. I'm sure I can count on all of you.

I am also going to a recovery story training on Friday afternoon. I already read my story last Thursday for the youth group I'm a part of but I was invited to the training to help edit and make my recovery story not about my illness but about how far I've come. I know it's been 3 years since I got sick but there are days where I feel like it was yesterday. I am more outgoing since I've been going to the club I've made some good friends and I've been attending different events with the club. I certainly owe a lot of my growth to the staff and the members at the club. I know I am repeating myself over and over again but they all have done so much for me. I should realize how grateful I am that I am not sick anymore I have no signs of psychosis. I have my ups and downs but doesn't everybody? I think that people struggle all the time. I am fortunate to have a place to go. But sometimes I need a break, especially now. There's like hardly anybody at the club nowadays. I think it's the quietest it's been since I've started at the club.

There is a lot going on with the RFR that came out recently, and things could change for the clubhouses in MA. I am just hopeful I don't lose the place that I've loved for two years. It'll be 3 years in April of 2013 since I've been a member at the club. I hope by then that I have a job and can pay some of my student loans that my parents have been paying for me. And maybe even save up to go back to school so I can get that Bachelors degree I've been dreaming about. That is another one of m goals. I would love to get a good job, m dream is to be a teacher but maybe it's just a silly dream. I know people say reach for the stars and stuff but it might be out of my reach. If any of my readers are facebook friends you will know I love politics and you know my wall is covered with political stuff. Who knows maybe I'll run for office one day!!

I am hoping at least one of those dreams comes true for me. But I think the first one is a tiny bit more likely. I  am not sure why I'm so hard on myself about the whole job thing. I hope the next one I have is one that suits me. One that is right for me. I don't want to rely on anybody anymore. I want to be able to get my own paycheck and pay for my own phone bill. I want to do my own thing. I want to buy my own concert ticket instead of having my parents do it. I did appreciate the Ben Taylor tickets though I had such a great time at that concert!! I can say for sure I am a Ben Taylor groupie for life. LOL. I really enjoy his singing he has such talent. I hope you enjoyed reading my newest entry. I will end it for now. I will try and post more often. I only have a handful of entries. I've had this blog for a while now. I think it's time I write in it everyday. Or at least every other day. Have a good night everybody. Thanks for being such loyal readers :)
