My thoughts on GH.

          Hello everyone
Even though I haven't watched General Hospital in a few months, I feel I have to vent about what has been going on, yesterday I watched Friday's episode. I was quite disappointed in the fact that they are trying to rewrite history by saying Anna may not be Robin Scorpio's mother. I find this to be absolutely ridiculous. I wasn't even born when Anna had Robin, but when they are in scenes together. I see the love they both have for each other. If and only if Alex is in fact Robin's mother that doesn't mean anything to me and I'm sure the rest of the fans who grew up watching these two. I remember when Anna and Robin reunited on All My Children.
    It was a beautiful thing to be honest. Even though Robin thought she had faked her death. If I'm wrong on that please correct me. I feel I have lost patience with GH. Rewriting history isn't going to win me back. The other thing bothering is Dawn of day storyline, Kristina Corinthos is to stupid to have fallen for Shiloh's trickery. I hope in all honesty she is somehow rewired, and she comes back stronger and kicks the guys ass. Because dude he is creepy to the max.
     I have to say I love Spencer Cassadne, he rocks. He has grown so much, his scenes with Valentin are hysterical. I feel Valentin knows that Nikolas is still alive. I miss Helena so much, her villianry knows no bounds. Constance Towers to me is the only one who can pull off this very dark character. And as we all know nobody ever dies on soaps. Part of the reason I love GH is for the vets, for instance Monica, Alan, Tracy, Luke, Laura, Scotty, Lucy, the list goes on. It's not like it once used to be. I mean Luke and Laura's wedding was and still is the most watched episode with 30 million plus viewers. I miss the older characters, don't get me wrong I have love for all the characters, but the vets especially are the ones that are close to my heart.
      I haven't fallen out of love for GH. I will always love it, I just think the writers can do a lot better with the stories. I think that GH can get back to it's glory days if the vets and the newbies are given eqal air time. And also take a break on hiring new actors. The cast is bloated as it is. I know people will agree with me on that. Everytime a new person comes on. It takes away from everyone else. I thnk the hospital itself needs to come to the forefront more too. That's why it's called General Hospital. I know the writers can do 100 times better, then maybe I'll be back to watching every day.
    I'll probably catch up on some episodes on Hulu, but I do read recaps online and I love spoilers. I also wish I could afford to go to fan events again. That's another part that is bothering me, because I'm on disability, I can no longer afford to attend. I'm just as much a fan of the show as everyone else, I too want to make new friends, and meet the cast. It's wishful thinking on my part I know. But it's my dream to meet Maurice Benard amongst others. Well maybe one day my dream will come true. But for now, I will close this new post with this.
    Even though we fans are frustrated, don't give up on our shows. I still miss AMC and OLTL. I have hope that GH will continue for a long time to come.
