The state of General Hospital

  Hello everyone,
As a long time viewer of ABC daytime's General Hospital. I thought I'd write about my thoughts on the current storylines. Right now as all us fans know, we have the Dawn of day storyline with Shiloh at the helm, at the moment he's got Sam McCall captive, and in a freezer.  Jason Morgan her love and always hero, is beating the ever living snot out of bad guy Shiloh, But here's what I don't understand. Why is Jason always the hero? Can't the PCPD do something. Hello you're the police! Time to get up off your butts and do something.
Why let the criminals save the day? Let it be Mac Scorpio. Or Robert. Come on writers get with the program. We also have the ever dragged out baby switch storyline, involving Bradley Cooper. Liesel Obrecht finally caught on to him as the one who pushed her off the haunted star. I hope that Liesel can redeem herself and trap Brad, but looks like we have longer to wait. Carly did show up towards the end of the conversation, so maybe she'll be the one to open pandora's box.
I find it difficult nowadays to enjoy GH as it has become the Shiloh show The actor portraying him Coby Ryan Mclaughlin is fantastic though. I see an Emmy in his future. The cast of GH is also so bloated. They need to utilize the cast now. And stop hiring new people. I have been missing Helena Cassadine though, and Nikolas. Played by Constance Towers and Tyler Christopher respectively. Nikolas has been mentioned several times over the past few weeks. So here's to hoping he comes back. I also hope if he does, he nails Valentin to the wall.
As some of you GH viewers who are friends on social media with me know, my big dream is to go to GHFCW. I've never been. I cannot afford fan events anymore. It'd be so fun to be able to have a lifelong dream come true. I want to meet my friends, and some of the cast. I know it's silly, but I hope my dream will happen next Summer of 2020. Maybe I can save up for it and bring my mom. She used to watch with me, and she knows how much I want to go.
I am so grateful to my friends, Lisa, Jocelyn, Maxine, and oh so many others who post their fabulous pictures. And especially thankful for Debbie Morris who runs the official fan club. It's like I can live vicariously through them, I can only dream for now. But maybe one day soon I won't have to. I have been a fan of Maurice Benard who plays Sonny for the longest time. I'd love to meet him too, and thank him for the Birthday video he made me, and for being my hero. I know he cares about his fans, his interaction is awesome. He has a book coming out in April of 2020. So be on the lookout for that.
Well for now, I'll end this short but very sweet entry. I hope everyone reads and comments their thoughts on General Hospital.
