I am writing this entry from my parent's cottage in Evans City PA! It's absolutely gorgeous here. I love it. I have been coming to PA since I was a little girl. I am so lucky to have friends and family who care about me here. That's one of the reasons why I love it so much. I have been hanging out mostly at the cottage I did go down to camp for my parents week. It is a great place to be for sure. I am so blessed to just have this wonderful place in my life. I am not looking forward to going home. I never look forward to leaving this place to be quite honest. I hope to move here one day. I love MA don't get me wrong. I have roots there too. I am hoping to write a book one day about my life. I want to tell my story to help others who might be struggling like I do. When I was diagnosed with my mental illness I thought I would have nobody besides my parents to understand me. But I was wrong. I have wonderful people in my life who support and love me for who I am. They know who they are and they love me unconditionally. I love the people in my life all of them. If not for their support I don't know where I would be.
I have been thinking a lot about that. I often wonder if it was just my parents who took care of me, what would happen? Would I get sick again? That's still a big fear of mine. But it has NOT happened. It's really an irrational fear I think. I have not relapsed or had to go to the hospital in 4 years. I find it to be a blessing to be honest that I did get sick in the first place. Why you ask. Because I have met life changing people who will do anything to help me. I am looking forward to touching base with my former teacher from High School when I return home. It's kind of weird that I still keep in touch with those who touched my life. But you know what. Who cares? I will always remember what she did for me. She helped me pass MCAS. The one thing that was an obstacle throughout high school. For her support and encouragement I am grateful. I will always be appreciative.
Oh and did I mention I've been promoting my blog page on facebook like crazy! I even got Kathleen Gati who is an actress to like the page. How awesome is she right? I plan to interview her sometime soon so keep a lookout for that. I love when people read my blog it shows they care even if they don't comment, just reading means they appreciate me. I love you guys so much you have no idea. There has been a lot of change as you know. I have been struggling with it, but slowly understanding change happens for a reason. Trust me it can suck but I have to come to grips with it. I know more change will come. I know whatever comes my way I can handle it. I am a big girl. I am planning on attending another day program back home. I know some of you know I go to the Point After Club. I adore everybody there. But it's time that I move on. I hope if anyone from the club that is reading this understands. I just want you all to know how appreciative I am of your support, love, and encouragement. It's getting late, and my mom doesn't know I'm still up so I'm going to stop writing on this entry for now. Again thanks for listening
