Advice I would give to 10 year olds

        Happy Saturday everyone. I was asked to write a new entry giving advice to 10 year old's. It's pretty tricky to give advice to 10 year old's. I was still in elementary school when I was that age and almost ready to enter Middle school. I guess I would start off by saying that being a 10 year old can be difficult but a lot of fun at the same time. Your mind is growing and you learn new things about the world. Like I said it can also be challenging because any 10 year old can struggle like I did with making friends. I have a Non-Verbal Learning disability and making friends especially at that age was hard. But to be honest it can be hard at any age. I was bullied once I got a little older I'm not saying that being a 10 year old you should expect that sort of thing but if you need advice on how to prevent it from happening or if someone is bullying you, here's what to do. You get an adult right away! That is the most important thing. If at first you don't succeed keep doing it. I think it's vital to have support when you're at a young age. I wish that everyone supported me including my peers but not everyone did which was rather unfortunate but I had plenty of amazing adults by my side who always came to my defense. If you feel you are being ignored go to your parents or an older sibling if your parents for any reason aren't around.

    I wish someone had given me advice when I was 10. I often wonder if I had that advice would things have been different for me? Maybe my peers wouldn't have bullied me. Or maybe I would have had a lot more support. Being a 10 year old can be a fun experience too as well. You are in the prime of your life! I guess it's difficult to know what kind of advice to give to a young person. Especially because nobody gave me advice when I was 10. I'm trying my best to give my thoughts and advice to a young age group. I really think that being that age group is fun. It's not always going to be bad. You will make friends who will always be there. I made friends. I wasn't popular not by a long shot but I did make some good friends sometimes it took me a while but I did it. I think every 10 year old boy or girl that might be reading this should know that I am not the best at giving out advice but that things do get difficult as you move through your education and as you get older too but you will always remember being young. I hope this was helpful. It was fun writing this. I hope that parents show this to their young ones and tell them that everything will be okay.
