My Wishes for 2012

So we are 3 days into 2012 and I am writing this blog to share what my wishes are for the year. I would love to get a job! I had a job at stop and shop over the summer and it didn't work out. I would love to get an office job or I would love to get the chance to mentor someone. I've had mentors in my life so I think it's time that I made a difference in someone else's life. I would love to save up whatever money I make for school, because my second wish is to get my Bachelor's degree! I don't have a particular school in mind, but I do have a career goal. As I have said several times I would love to be a special education teacher. I would also like to visit my old stomping ground Landmark College but that's such a difficult wish to make come true for me because I always let my fears of what people might think of me get in the way. I had a psychotic break there in Easter of 2009.

Now on to my wishes that might be a lot more trickier. Well I'm sure my readers know I am Carly Simon's #1 fan. I've looked up to her since I was a little girl. I would love to get the chance to meet her, or if not that interview her for my blog. What a huge opportunity it would be to interview a legend!! I already got to interview Kate Taylor for my blog which was pretty awesome I must say. I would love to also meet Kate Taylor. I think chances are somewhat good that I will. She does gigs in Massachusetts so hopefully I will be able to meet her after one of her concerts if I ever get to go to one of them. Both of these women are amazing and if I got the chance to meet them this year that would be epic!!

I would also like to start writing a book about my life so far this year. You all must be thinking that's crazy! Well I've been through a lot in 24 years. I'll be 25 on July 1st. July is still eons away but I'm looking forward to it and being wiser hopefully. I've wanted to write a book for a year. I just haven't gotten around to it. Maybe with some help from my mom I will be able to start the process. I don't expect to be published right away. I realize there are rejections that will probably come my way. I would love to write a book now while I still can. It's something that is so important to me. I look up to a lot of authors out there. One particular author is Carolyn Hennesy. She is awesome at what she does. I would love to make an impact on someone's life with my book like she has with hers in my life.
