The 2 special teachers in my life

      I have two teachers in my life who still remain a part of my life to this very day. Mrs DeVito lives in CT and was my teacher for the first 2 years of my elementary education. She did a lot for me. She helped me believe and pushed me to conquer through my struggles. She is my second honorary mother. I actually went to visit her way back in the day. She had a lot of animals and she treated me like one of her own.  I remember she gave me a keychain with a note on the back of it. I can't recall the whole thing but it was very special to me, unfortunately I lost the note in High School. I didn't think anyone else would match up to Mrs DeVito. She was and still is really special to me.
        But I was proved wrong. I was a sophomore in High School and I was getting ready to meet a new special education teacher I would be having. Her name is Mrs Waybright.. She is also a special person in my life. She also pushed me to believe and reach for the stars. I hated math. Boy did I ever. Waybs as I so lovingly called her never gave up on me after failing the test every year. When I reached Senior year and the end of High School, I didn't think I would graduate. But when Deb told me I finally passed I was thrilled. She was too. If it wasn't for her believing in me I doubt I would have passed. Waybs still remains an integral part of my life.
She took me to Breakfast on Monday and we talked and reminisced. I will never, ever forget what these two ladies did for me. They have a special place in my heart. I don't know if they would say the same but because of these two. I was able to conquer and battle through the tough times.
         Students should be blessed that these 2 are in the education system because they are very important and special.
