Hi everyone welcome to my first blog entry for August. Better late than never right? I have been a member of the Haverhill Clubhouse for a year. I met some amazing staff as well as members. For the rest of August I will take the time to write about each person that has impacted my life. The first person I'll write about is Teri. She is a really special person. She and I can talk about anything. I have been able to confide in her, and I trust her even though I haven't known her for very long. She is the type of person who will bring a smile to your face. I struggle with body image issues and she brought me to the ladies room and made me look at myself in the mirror. I was disgusted at first but then I realized I was okay. You know how sometimes people are meant to be in your life well Teri was meant to be in mine.
I am so lucky to not only have a July 1st Birthday with her but we have bonded and we respect each other. I have the utmost respect and admiration for Teri. She supports everybody. She cares about everyone at the Haverhill Club. And even better she is non judgmental. I wish everyone could know Teri. There is something about her that is just special. I guess I can't explain it. There have been so many people in my life. Like a ton. She has just left a giant imprint on my heart that I will never ever forget. I think my life changed when I met Teri and the staff at the Haverhill Clubhouse. I am just blessed. Wow broken record. I know but that's how I feel. I think I will leave it here for now. I don't have much else to say. I am just so grateful for Teri. I know she knows how I feel about what she's done I do my best to remind her everyday. I appreciate all my readers, I am sorry that I haven't written often. That will change though.
