Updates for June 2014

   Hi everyone,
Hope my readers are enjoying their Tuesday evening. As some of you may not know I am moving with my parents to North Carolina. I am sad, but excited for this new adventure. I am hopeful that I will find a job there and that I will be able to make friends that care about me as much as my friends here. I never thought in the almost 15 years I've lived with my parents that I would be scared to leave. I guess it's the fear of the unknown that bothers me the most. I will miss my friends when I leave. It will be bittersweet for sure when the time to say goodbye comes. I respect everyone within the mental health system that watched me grow, and supported me over the years. I will miss the community too. I will admit I didn't have it easy when I moved here. I was bullied, and judged harshly, trust me that is something I will never forget. But people mature and I have learned to move on. Often times though it's hard not to think about what I was put through.
I will miss everyone. I'm not going to leave anyone out. But in the end I know I made the right decision to go with my parents. I am fortunate that I have great parents who take care of me through thick and thin. I remember how hard it was when I was sick. But I became a stronger person because of it. I am blessed to be who I am. A strong, courageous woman. I am fortunate to share a birthday with a wonderful staff member at the Haverhill Clubhouse. I'm blessed to have met her, I can tell her anything. I know she will always listen. I can count on her to make me smile, laugh, and just bring joy to my heart when I need it. But in all honesty everyone I've crossed paths with has touched my life in one way or another. It won't be easy. I would be lying if I said it was. I am just picturing myself crying as I go to each person having to say so long for now. I hope I can spend as much time with my friends as I can. I don't know when I will be leaving. But I know I have time here.
I can admit that I will never forget my time here in MA. The good and the not so good times will stay with me forever. I am also going to carry the people that touched my life in my heart no matter where I end up in life. I hope that. they do too. Or at least they never forget me. I'm pretty unforgettable though. I will keep the faith and hope that things work out. I do ask though can y'all say a prayer that the house sells. My folks worked really hard on the house. It's gorgeous. I just want to hitch it to a trailer and take it with me. I will miss it that much. I know my family will too. I will come visit new england though. Because eventually I will miss the snow and stuff like that. North Carolina doesn't get snow. Least not like new england does. I know when the time comes I will be okay. I am strong as I said. I can handle anything.
