I really want to interview Carly Simon. I did send an email to her Publishing company a week ago Friday, no response yet. I will try and send a letter to the company on Tuesday. I guess this is more of a dream than a goal though. I want to continue to write on my blog on a regular basis. In a weird way though in the almost 5 years since I've started this blog I feel I've written about pretty much everything and anything. Writing is a passion of mine. Has been since I got sick. I can't believe it will be almost 5 years. I also plan on going to Landmark College in March for the Alumni Basketball game. I actually hope to attend this time. I also want to work on getting my Bachelor's degree. It's not just because I feel like I have something to prove. I want to challenge myself, and make my dream of becoming a teacher's aide come true. I know I have to pay off student loans and most likely it will be a few more years before both dreams come true and hey that's okay. If I have to wait ten years so be it!!
I want to complete my time at Cornerstone. It will be 3 years this Friday since I've started. I've made some great friends and the staff is amazing. Who knows maybe I will work in the mental health system one day. As long as I'm making a difference in someone's life. That is my biggest goal in life. Has been for as long as I can remember. I intend on not giving up on any of my goals. I may have some obstacles standing in my way but I won't let let them stop me. I also want to make sure I visit the Point After Club on Saturday and hang out with my friend April. I am really excited to go back and visit. I miss everyone there. I also want to get more people to follow my blog. I want as much traffic as I can get. I have 21 amazing followers, but hey a hundred more won't hurt right? I care about this blog a lot. So if anyone has ideas on future things I should write about please contact me. I want to make sure I write more often. I feel like I haven't done that a lot in this new year.
I am truly grateful to have a place to vent and express myself. I have to keep going with this. I owe a lot of this to my mom because she is a writer and I wanted to express myself in a way I normally didn't. I want to conduct more interviews as well and people can leave comments here or on my FB page called Anna's Blog about who I should contact. I am happy to interview anyone. Actors, Politicians, Authors, etc... I am pretty much wanting to make this an interview type blog pretty soon. I will still write my own thoughts from time to time. But I want to make it fun here for everybody. Oh and in a couple months I hope to be participating in the NAMI walk. If anyone wants to donate to this wonderful cause let me know.
