Carly Simon

So it's Friday November 4th and I've decided to write about one of my favorite musicians of all time Carly Simon. It all started when I was a little girl. I grabbed one of her earlier CD's off my mom's shelf. I don't remember which one it was because I was so little. But I remember listening to it and I instantly became a fan. I know people my age listen to rap, hip-hop, hard rock, etc. But I like folk, and easy listening. I remember thinking how cool Carly was and still is. I have a few dreams that I would like to accomplish.

I would like to meet Carly or interview her for my blog. But if both of these dreams were to come true that would be amazing. I saw Carly's son Ben Taylor in concert when I was a senior in High School with my good friend Greg, when I got to the concert I had no clue that Carly was there too. When another conert goer told me she was there at first I didn't believe her. But when I saw a woman walk by with one of the guards I knew it was Carly right away. One of the waitresses who was there that night messaged me the next day after the concert and told me she got to meet Carly. I was kind of bummed that I missed my chance to tell Carly thanks for being my hero. I consider her to be brave, and one of the most coolest people on earth. Even though I haven't met her personally. One of the reasons I admire Carly is that she isn't afraid to bust a move every once in a while and she loves her family. I love seeing Carly unafraid. She does those little video blogs for her fans and gives fashion ideas. She's not afraid to talk politics either. I just adore her.

I love her fashion sense, every Carly fan knows she has pretty amazing fashion sense. I don't have a favorite Carly song, in a way all of them are my favorite. But You're So Vain is probably the top because well it's mysterious. We don't really know who the song is about. Everybody should listen to Carly's music, it keeps me at peace when I need it. If I'm having a bad day she makes me smile. I dont' know what I would do without her music. I'm going to end this post for now, I don't want to go on to long but if I come up with anything else to say I will add it later.
