1-12-15 updates

Hi everyone, here is my second blog post for 2015. I have good news to share I got a job at a tax office where I live. It just so happened they needed a receptionist and that someone was me!!! I went in gave my boss my resume and will be trained for a few days starting tomorrow. It's only temporary but it will go into early April. I had a rough morning. I mean it is Monday so who doesn't have rough mornings right? I had a good cry with my mom on the phone. I didn't think anything would make the day better. But getting the job today did. I have to say leaving the Haverhill Clubhouse and going back to the Point After Club was the best thing I ever did. Had I stayed at the Haverhill Clubhouse I wouldn't have had the courage to do the things I've done over the past weeks such as applying to 4 different jobs!! Yeah I know crazy!! Right? But I am so fired up in a good way to do something with my life.
I want to move up the ladder. I want to do something like work in the mental health field and make a difference. It has been my dream to make a difference ever since I graduated High School. It would be an honor to work in the field and touch a persons life. My friend Charlotte touched my life, although she's in Iowa. Before she left I had the honor of working with her for years. She really touched my life and I will never forget the advice she gave me. I will carry it with me for the rest of my life. Thanks to her and so many others who watched me grow, and change into a unique personality to say the least. I hope to make an impact just like she did for me.
I am honored to have her as a friend. I talk to her on the phone once a month, talk to her on Facebook and I will start writing her letters. I love having someone to write to. She's probably someone who will be there for me for a long time. I also owe a lot to Tom the Director at the Point After Club. He also has played a role in changing my life. He is like a father figure in my life. He gave me a high five when he found out I got the job at Liberty tax! It feels so good to know that he was so proud of me. The staff at the Point After Club are so special. They make a difference in so many lives, they play a positive role in my life too. I hope to be there for as long as I can be. I know I can move up the ladder and secure a great job. I have wonderful people in the mental health system around me, who truly care about me and believe in me everyday!!! I hope my readers are having a great start to this new year!!! I know I am!!
