I'm in my 2nd month at the Point After Club, I'm really enjoying my time at the club, the people have been so welcoming and respectful to me. I have structure in my life now. I'm not isolating myself as much as I had before. I have a place to go to everyday. When I got sick in 2009, my mom and step-dad took care of me from that point until I joined the club in March of 2010.
I am making new friends who have been very kind to me, I don't know what I would do without the PAC. I would probably be watching soaps in my room and I would be on my laptop 24/7. Before I came to the club that's what I was doing to occupy my time. I have so much respect for the club and the staff for what they do. I feel very fortunate to have a place that I can go to everyday. I also got a volunteer position at the MSPCA in Methuen. I'm really looking forward to it. I remember how hard things were for me a year ago, but things are coming along for me. I'm recovering from my illness. I'm lucky to have the support of my family and friends.
